To secure a reservation we need your credit card details as a deposit and that you agree to our cancellation policy. We will not charge your card only if the cancellation policy applies.

Cancellation more than 7 days prior to arrival – NO CHARGE
Cancellation within 7 days - 1 night rate will be charged
Cancellation within 4 days – 50 % of booked nights will be charged
Cancellation within 2 days and less, No-Shows or shortened stays: full accommodation price will be charged

Tonga, officially Pule′ Fakatu′i ′o Tonga (the Kingdom of Tonga), is an archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean, 176 islands stretches over a distance of about 800 kilometers (500 miles) in a north-south line located at about a third of the distance from New Zealand to Hawaii.

We can book your airport transfers. We offer a safe & reliable service with meet and greet at arrivals. Before your arrival please email reception to confirm your transfers.

The current cost is TOP 55 one way, per passenger, however prices are subject to change because we use an external company. We will confirm the applicable price at confirmation.

Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out is by 11:00am.

For guaranteed early check-in, we recommend your room is reserved one night in advance and a full day charge would apply.

The official check-out time is 11:00am.

24-hour check-in is possible by arrangement. If you arrive after 10 pm our night watch will check you in.

Electricity is 240 volts AC/50 cycles. Most modern appliances such as mobile phones, computers, etc. have internal dual voltage. So you will only need a twin prong adapter with round poles. Buy a set, with converter, before you leave your country, if you are intending to use any other devices.

We are happy to accommodate most dietary needs or restrictions to ensure you have a delightful dining experience with us. Contact us before dining and we will do our best to look after you.

We offer laundry & ironing services. There will be a laundry form and bag in the bedroom closet. Complete the form according to the pieces that require washing and leave along with the laundry bag for collection by our housekeeping staff OR hand it to one of our reception staff. Your laundry will be delivered back to your room the following day. If you wish to have an express service, please inform our reception staff of a specific return time.

Tonga's businesses operate Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30pm and on Saturday fro 8:30am to 12 noon. It is important to note that all businesses are closed on Sundays. This includes most cafés and bars. Food, is available in hotels and resorts.

The Tongan dollar is the Pa′anga and comes in $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50 & $100 dollar denominations. While most major credit cards are accepted (usually with a fee) in Tonga and there are over 200 EFTPOS outlets, it is important to note that Tonga is essentially a cash society, many cafés and guest houses only accept cash.

There are also numerous ATMs, banking and money exchange facilities in town centers. Small denomination notes are essential for cafes, taxis and the like to avoid awkward situations.

Before arriving in Tonga all visitors must have sufficient funds to pay for services.

Tipping is is always appreciated as a reward for good service.

There is a wide range of activities on offer, from fishing to kayaking, night swimming to nature watching. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy every aspect of Tonga.

Tonga has two major telcos, Tonga Communications Corporation TCC and Digicel Tonga. Both offer satellite connection, email, fax, telephone and mobile phone services.

Seaview Lodge is dedicated to green hotel policies and have taken action to reduce our carbon footprint, save energy, recycle, reduce water consumption and conserve natural resources. We have installed solar panels to conserve energy as well as using bio-degradable healthy cleaning products. We don’t believe in waste and toxic plastics.
