"Hidden Gem Our visit started with a pick up at airport - drive was waiting and easy to find so soon on our way. Very well situated on seafront (the clue is in the name!). We had an ocean view with a nice balcony and great views. We arrived on a Saturday and reception had organised an excellent tour for the Sunday - as others note, almost everything closes then but also note that this means many restaurants etc have gaps on menu on Mondays. Fortunately the Seaview does serve dinner on Sunday evening. The food was very good - highly recommend the lamb. All the staff are welcoming and attentive. The deck are is very pleasant for breakfast and dinner. As others have noted, it’s very convenient to town - a 10 minute walk around the Royal Palace. WiFi among the easiest to use in the Pacific so far - no need to keep on entering name and room number or buy vouchers like other places. Overall highly recommend it. (Tripadvisor)"

"A Hidden Gem Wonderful accomodation and restaurant with a staff that lived up to the name ‘friendly islanders’. The view , when you wake up in the morning , is paradisial. The area is very quiet and safe all around and the walkway along the waterfront is nicely done . Well worth a visit! (Tripadvisor)"

"Exceptional Hospitality at Seaview Lodge. We recently found ourselves unexpectedly needing a place to stay in Nuku’alofa after our flight home was cancelled, and we are so grateful that we ended up at Seaview Lodge. From the moment we arrived, Claudia, Siulolo, and the entire team welcomed us with open arms and made us feel completely at home. Their hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. They made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and stress-free during our extended stay. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating, always ready to assist with a warm smile. It truly felt like we were being taken care of by family rather than staying at a lodge. (Tripadvisor)"

"Probably the best restaurant on currently. The seaside location with inside and outside dining is superb. The food was excellent, not a long wait and excellent quality. I didn't stay here but I would love to in the future. Staff and polite professional and friendly. (Google)"
